She has published creative nonfiction in Hippocampus Magazine, Literary Mama, Mamapedia, Writer Unboxed and Real Zest. She earned her PhD in English Literature and has published literary criticism in the journals Criticism, Texas Studies in Language and Literature, and Twentieth Century Literature.
